Mark Ruffalo appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and got candid about Hulk’s future in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) post Avengers: Endgame. Watch the interview below to know what Mark had to say.

It won’t be wrong to say that Avengers: Endgame was the perfect swan song for the original six Avengers (Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow and Hawkeye). While Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff sacrificed their life for the greater good of humanity, Steve Rogers was selfish for once in his life and instead, spent an eternity with his love, Peggy Carter. We now know that Thor will be reuniting with Dr. Jane Foster, Valkyrie and Korg in Thor: Love and Thunder while Clint Barton will be training his daughter Kate Bishop to succeed him as the new Hawkeye in the upcoming namesake Disney+ series.

That leaves us with Dr. Bruce Banner, who at the end of Endgame, became a hero for bringing back the ones snapped to dust by Thanos during Avengers: Infinity War (2018). While Bruce and Hulk became a “whole” as the Smart Hulk, there has been no confirmation on whether Mark Ruffalo is done with the MCU or is there more of Hulk that we are yet to witness. When the Dark Waters star appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Mark was asked by Stephen Colbert about Hulk’s future in the MCU.

“I don’t know. I do know that I did give Kevin Feige the Blockbuster Award at the Hollywood Film Awards the other day to a smattering of applause and he did say, ‘Hey, do you think there’s any more story left here?’ and I said ‘I could probably come up with a few storylines,’ and he said ‘Maybe you should come in and we’ll have a talk,'” Ruffalo confessed.

Meanwhile, we wonder if this future could include a cameo in the She-Hulk series, which is currently in the works. For the uninitiated, She-Hulk is the alter-ego of Bruce Banner’s cousin, Jennifer Walters, who is an attorney. The Disney+ series has reportedly tapped in Rick and Morty writer Jessica Gao to lead the writing team.
